An Evening Out with Nature

Far away from my home,
Out in the countryside.
Wandering around in zeal and pride,
A vagabond, a nomad, I felt like,
The evening sun, down the horizon,
Plays hide and seek in clouds,
Golden light flickering,
On branches of the Poplar,
Mixed fragrance in the slow breeze,
Mesmerized me with joy,
White doves flew away,
Added to my surprise,
The intoxicated Swallows,
Jumping and diving,
Melodies of Nightingales,
And the endless music of crickets,
Needed a singer to sing along.
In the twilight, crows returning,
For me, time to go home.
In praise of nature’s beauty,
The Creator only, Deserves credit.
